In today’s world, lifestyle-related health challenges are growing. The role of the health coach has become a vital bridge between health knowledge and long-term personal change. This course offers a solid foundation in health coaching and helps participants guide others toward better health through behavior change, empathetic support, and effective goal-setting.
By the end of this program, learners will be able to:
1- Identify how to listen actively and ask thoughtful, open-ended questions to help clients express themselves, explore their motivations, and take meaningful steps toward better health.
2- Explain how to facilitate change-focused conversations using proven tools such as Motivational Interviewing, while encouraging client autonomy and active engagement in their health journey.
3- Demonstrate how to collaboratively set clear goals and develop practical action plans that support clients in making gradual, sustainable lifestyle changes.
4- Describe how to manage coaching sessions with professionalism and confidence while honoring privacy, cultural diversity, and ethical boundaries.
5- Apply health coaching techniques across various domains—including nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, and chronic disease—to support clients in a holistic and impactful way.
• Activities: Recorded video lessons, role-play exercises, case studies, and interactive quizzes.
• Practice: Virtual coaching session practice, health plan design, and peer or instructor feedback.
• Assessment: Pre-course knowledge quiz, written coaching plan submission, and a final applied assessment.
• Interaction: Discussion forums, optional live Q&A sessions, and reflective exercises to support self-awareness.
• Expectations: Learners are expected to spend 3–4 hours per week, complete all modules, actively participate, and submit assignments on time.
