VMA offers a 3-day crash course designed to offer a broad exposure to common cases in family medicine. The goal of the course is to support and guide family medicine resident physicians in acquiring the knowledge and clinical acumen required to provide outstanding management and care for patients. The course will be presented by Dr.Mohammed AL-Ateeq and will cover different case scenarios such as;

- Urinary tract infection
- Benign prisratic hyperplasia
- Thyroid disorders
- Well baby care
- Menstruated disorders
- Dyspepsia
- IBS
- Chronic anemia

Objectives

By the end of the session, candidates should be able to:
- Update participants in chronic disease management in context of family practice
- Discussion of different case scenarios of chronic diseases
- Review of latest pharmacotherapy and nonpharmacological treatment modalities of chronic diseases

It is an interactive online session that provide workshop style interaction amongst the participants and the speaker. Recordings are available for 21 days starting from the last session.
