Infection prevention and control practices are important in maintaining a safe and healthy hospital environment for our patients, healthcare providers and visitors. This lecture was a part of infection control updates conference which conducted on September 2021 which provided a unique forum for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the Prevention & Infection Control. Also, it was highlight important information regarding COVID-19 Pandemic.What I will learn?
- By the end of this lecture, the learners will be able to:
1.Identify the rationale behind developing ASP.
2.Recognize the skills needed to lead ASP.
3.Explain the differences between quantitative (DDD, DOT) and qualitative (PPS) measurement of antibiotic use.
4.Describe the knowledge and skills of therapeutic drug monitoring.
5.illustrate how clinicians can apply low hanging fruit as: interactive case-based scenarios
