Immunohematology is a branch of hematology and transfusion medicine that studies antigen-antibody reactions. In this lecture, we will be discussing its important concepts of it.

  Describe the distinguishing features of transfusion reactions such as: febrile, urticarial, anaphylactic, transfusion-related acute lung injury, and transfusion-associated graft-versus-host disease.
