This course provides formulators in academia and the pharmaceutical industry with the theoretical foundation and practical skills required to leverage artificial intelligence tools for drug development. Participants will gain the essential knowledge to move beyond trial-and-error methodologies and adopt next-generation AI-driven formulation approaches.

What I will learn?

- Use databases and AI platforms such to collect physico‐ chemical, biopharmaceutical and pharmacokinetic information necessary drug molecules information needed for pre formulation and formulation studies.
- Use AI platforms to detect drug‐excipients incompatibilities and their physical and chemical sources.
- Use AI platforms to decide the suitable route for drug absorption and the need for advanced drug delivery system for its delivery.
- Use Formulation AI platform to select the best solvents and the best carriers or techniques to solubilize a certain drug and to formulate drugs/molecules in advanced drug delivery systems.
- Detect the best conditions and material composition to prepare a specific nanoparticulate system such as chitosan nanoparticles with a desired critical quality attribute such as using Nanocarriers AI platform.
- Connect between several AI platforms to plan and conduct any new formulation experiments.
