It is a 2 days conference that includes key note speeches, plenaries, panel sessions and workshops. Recorded short videos from the pioneers of EBHC reflecting on the progress of EBHC in 3 decades will available at the conference website to provoke thinking and interaction. There are more than 50 speakers from more than 20 countries around the world. It is an international event that is meant to address an international audience. This global spirit is reflected in the structure of the scientific committee and in the organization of the conference. The sessions will be provided in different time zones (round the clock) so that every participant will have a mix of live and recorded/replayed sessions. People can also register within 1 month of the event to enjoy watching the sessions at their own pace.
1. To network and share experiences on implementing data and research evidence with peers from around the globe.
2. To update the audience with the new collaborative trends, tools and resources for teaching and learning, adapting and implementing evidence in order to have an impact on people's health as well as impact evaluation.
3. To initiate an international dialogue on how to move forward in making decision-making (at all levels) informed by the best available evidence. All plenaries and panel sessions have a mix of speakers from 2-3 continents at leasts.
