Echocardiographic assessment of cardiac valves provides great insight of cardiac anatomy and plays an important role in detecting any abnormalities and diseases. Therefore, we have organized this course to support and guide Cardiologist, Physician, and resident in acquiring the knowledge and skills required.
The course will be presented by Dr. Mohammed S. Qasem and will cover both theoretical and practical parts.
CONTENT:
1. Normal cardiac vales from gross anatomy to echo-Doppler.
2. Echo of aortic valve stenosis.
3. Echo of aortic valve regurge.
4. Echo of mitral valve stenosis.
5. Echo of mitral valve regurge.
6.Workshop clinical interactive based approach.
Save time and be assured you have all the information you need in one place!
Note:
To obtain CME credits (5 hours) you need to attend the course live.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Provide a detailed description of the aortic valve stenosis and regurge.
2. Provide an insight into the mitral valve stenosis and regurge
3. Clarify a detailed description of the aortic valve stenosis and regurge.
4. Evaluate common valve diseases (MVS, MVR, AVS, AVR )
This intensive 2-days program provides practitioners at the beginning of the learning curve in cardiac imaging with anatomy, physiology, a detailed knowledge of sonographic planes, terminology, measurements and valvular assessment. There is an emphasis on the practical aspects of these topics with “workshop” tuition, led by expert Echo cardiographer.
Course content assumes an understanding of:
1. Basic anatomy, physiology and 2DE, M- mode and common Doppler equation in valve assessment.
2. Full echocardiography Evaluation of common valve diseases (MVS, MVR, AVS, AVR ): Color Doppler, qualitative, quantitate measurement.
