Overview

Burn injuries and truama are common cases in a pediatric ER setting. Management of these injuries and their consequences will be part of most busy general pediatric practices. An understanding of the practice of outpatient small burn care is important. The goal of the course is to support and guide pediatric residents in acquiring the knowledge and clinical acumen required to provide outstanding management and care for patients in the emergency setting during on-calls or ER shifts.

    - Treat different degrees of burns
    - Describe the difference between trauma types
