Overview

This lecture was a part of 2nd virtual pediatric international conference, which held on 15th November 2021 and extended for three days. This virtual conference focused on evidence-based practical approaches to a variety of acute, urgent/emergency, and primary care conditions that you deal with in your day-to-day practice.

What I will learn?

  • By the end of the session, attendees will be able to:
    Identify the clinical and laboratory findings that differentiate different types of chronic diarrhea (osmotic, secretory, steatorrhea, etc.)
    List the common causes of chronic diarrhea based on age of onset and type of diarrhea
    Recognize the nutritional needs of patients with chronic diarrhea.
    Plan appropriate nutritional therapy
