This course is designed to shed some light on the special clinical laboratory tests and to give some guidelines on the nature and clinical values of these kinds of tests. The course will help medical practitioners, medical students, and laboratory specialists to understand what is special clinical laboratory tests, when to order and how they can be utilized in the patient diagnosis.
The course will include 20 clinical scenarios (5 clinical scenarios/day).
This transition course is offered to ICD-10-AM, ACHI and ACS experienced and trained clinical coding staff. The program delivers a fast track in an understanding of the journey from 6th edition, including 7th, 8th and 9th edition changes as appropriate, to arrive in 10th edition fully understanding the pathway and inherent assumptions of knowledge that exist in ICD-10-AM 10th edition, ACHI and ACS. Written to support and meet the Saudi Health Council January 2020 statement that coding in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to be completed using ICD-10-AM 10th edition from 1 Jan 2020.
ICD-10-AM and ACHI enable the classification of diagnoses, procedures, interventions and other health problems from narrative, to alphanumeric (ICD-10-AM)/numeric (ACHI) codes, which permits easy storage, retrieval and analysis of the data. A clinical coder is a healthcare worker whose primary responsibility is the classification of Clinical concepts (in admitted episodes of care) into codes. Clinical coders need to have a thorough understanding of the classification as well as a sound knowledge of medical terminology and medical sciences. The aim of clinical coding is to classify clinical concepts into code to accurately reflect the admitted episode of care. Clinical concepts and/or entities include a disease, complication or injury for ICD-10-AM coding and an intervention or procedure for ACHI coding.

We are pleased to invite you to the webinar titled ‘The Tale of Two Studies: Long-term treatment results from RA & PsA.' This interactive webinar aims to share with the rheumatology community the latest long-term efficacy and safety data for both RA and PsA.
Microbiomes (microbes that live inside the human body) can have a great impact on human health, so it is necessary for us to understand how complex the microbiome is, and how it can cause either our disease or our well-being.
This session will take the participant on a wonderful journey inside the human body, all the way to the gut, where each of this internal environment and the roles of the human microbiome will be reviewed. The participant will also learn about the changes his microbiome undergoes throughout his life, the role of food in those changes, as well as the daily functions of the microbiome within the digestive system. Join us in this interactive lecture to learn more about microbiomes and its effects in our life.
This webinar will allow you to understand intrauterine growth restriction in a pretty simple way whether you are a health care provider or not as it's a very important matter to discuss.
If you are working in an Obstetric clinic, it will be highly important for you to understand how Doppler ultrasound allows you to know if the baby is suspicious for IUGR. By the end of this webinar, you will be able to know what to measure and what to look for if you are doing the ultrasound part.

Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, chronic respiratory diseases, and cancers are associated with the highest prevalence of mortality worldwide.
The prevention and control of NCDs can be achieved through several health transformation interventions that interventions aim at creating healthy environments to minimize the avoidable risk factors of NCDs and enabling all individuals to make informed healthy choices.
The “Keep Well” System of Care (SoC) is currently being conducted in Saudi Arabia as a part of the new Model of Care (MoC). However, it is not applied properly due to the lack of adequate information and knowledge among healthcare providers.
Medical knowledge changes all the time. Therefore, It is important that all healthcare practitioners understand how to apply EBM in making treatment decisions for individual patients. Implementation of EBM in the managed care setting provides standards that have the potential to provide the best medical care for our patients.
Don't wait too long, join the session and start learning now!

Approximately 90%-95% of people with Diabetes have type 2 Diabetes which results from decreased sensitivity to insulin (Insulin resistance). Type 2 diabetes can be easy to ignore, especially in the early stages when you're feeling fine. But diabetes affects many major organs, including your heart, blood vessels, nerves, eyes and kidneys. Controlling blood sugar levels can help prevent these complications. Insulin therapy is recommended for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and an initial A1C level greater than 9 percent, or if diabetes is uncontrolled despite optimal oral glycemic therapy.
In this lecture we will discuss the differences between premixed insulins and basal bolus regimen and when flexibility is needed vs simplicity for patients.
connecting Dr Ian Chau (UK) and a panel of clinical gastric cancer experts for discussion on “Management of Gastric Cancer: Current Approach and Challenges”. This webinar is going to be interactive and engaging based on a discussion, and alive Q&A.
The webinar was designed for the target audience to understand the following:
1- The basic principles of bioinformatics.
2- Online bioinformatics tools to generate and analyze big genomic data.
3- Processing and analyzing the raw genomic data in R language.
4- The concept of predictive genetic testing.
5- The role genetic revolution in clinical applications.
6- The involvement of DNA damage and altered DNA sequences in certain diseases and toxicological effects of some chemicals and drugs.
7- The role of DNA fingerprinting in forensic sciences.
8- The role of miRNA target genes in predicting and interpreting of miRNA-disease associations.
