This activity provides an overview of common gastrointestinal issues in infants and explores the clinical use of specialized formulas to support digestive health and nutrition. It highlights current evidence and practical approaches for managing infant discomfort and promoting overall well-being.
By the end of this activity, participants will be able to identify at least three common gastrointestinal disorders in infants based on clinical presentation. They will explain the mechanism of action and clinical benefits of special formulas designed for infant digestive health using current evidence. Participants will also apply evidence-based recommendations to select appropriate nutritional interventions for infants presenting with GI discomfort in clinical practice.
