Aquatic therapy is a lost art in the rehabilitation era at KSA, this kind of therapy is used to describe a wide range of activities, which most therapeutic and exercise activities are carried out inside a pool where the properties of water are utilized to achieve specific therapeutic goals. The aim of Aquatic therapy is to assist with the rehabilitation of neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and psychological functions of individuals. This kind of therapy should be implemented to be an essential part of all rehabilitation programs (Therapeutic and social).
This lecture will provide:
Evidence in benefits of aquatic therapy on different conditions,
Rules, protocols, and guidelines of aquatic therapy to improve the quality of care offered to the patients, and
