What I will learn?
By the end of this activity, participants will be able to: Knowledge (Specific & Measurable): Describe at least three key bioactive components of human milk (e.g., HMOs, probiotics, immunological factors) and explain their role in infant health with ≥80% accuracy in post-activity assessment. Competence (Specific & Achievable): Compare at least two recent innovations in infant formula with human milk composition and identify their clinical indications during case-based discussions. Performance (Relevant & Time-bound): Apply evidence-based infant feeding recommendations in ≥2 simulated or real clinical scenarios (e.g., allergy, prematurity) within 3 months of completing the activity. Skills (Measurable): Demonstrate improved parental counseling techniques by effectively communicating feeding options and addressing concerns in role-play or assessment scenarios, achieving a minimum competency score of 80%. Critical Thinking (Time-bound & Relevant): Critically appraise at least one recent research article in infant nutrition and summarize its clinical implications for practice within 4 weeks after the activity. Attitude (Relevant & Achievable): Integrate culturally sensitive and patient-centered approaches into infant feeding recommendations, as reflected in participant feedback or reflective practice exercises.
