Evidence Based Practice (EBP) is the integration of clinical expertise, best current evidence and client values. The aim of this educational session is to provide a high quality treatment supported by the highest evidence available.

Objectives

By the end of the session, the student should be able to:
1- Define Evidence Based Practice (EBP)
2- Identify steps to critically appraise research papers.
3- Discuss the level of evidence.
4- Identify elements of systematic reviews and mate analysis studies.
5- Provide example of current research papers.

Evidence based practice in rehabilitation science is an online interactive session for one and half hour aiming to discuss the highest evidence available and its relation to the quality of treatment.
