The estimated date of delivery "EDD" or when the pregnancy is considered fully termed is a major concept. Each pregnant woman would definitely want to know how far in pregnancy she is and when is her estimated delivery could be. This webinar is meant to let you know how the earliest ultrasound scan gives the most accurate answers to such questions and for most importantly will let you know when to go by the estimated DATE calculated by ultrasound rather than by the one given based on her LMP.
By the end of the session, learners will be able to:
- Define the duration of each trimester of pregnancy.
- Recognize the proper measurements associated with the 1st trimester
- Identify the importance of knowing the estimated date of delivery.
- Identify when to rely on the estimated date of the last period AND in what situations we rely on the estimated date calculated by ultrasound.
- Compare Normal vs abnormal NT measurement
- Recognize the terminology of 1st trimester and parity code.
An online interactive session for 1 hour, encouraging the interaction style between the participants and the speaker. There will be pop-up questions during the lecture to ensure the audiences are grasping the materials. We will end with Q&A to answer any questions you may encounter during the course.
