By the end of the course the learner should be able to:
- Approach systematically a pediatric and adult chest radiograph.
- Differentiate common radiographic chest patterns in children with different chest disorders and how to arrange differential diagnoses in a logical manner.
- Evaluate the chest radiograph in children with known or suspected cardiac disease.
- Practice systematic approach based on heart size, pulmonary vasculature, airways, the situs of heart and abdomen, and bony abnormalities.
- Identify examples of common congenital and acquired heart disease in children.
