The Saudi Conference of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology is the only annual meeting in the Kingdom and is designed to meet the needs of health professionals; particularly physicians, clinical microbiologists, researchers, and pharmacists, specializing in infectious diseases. Objectives
This year the Scientific Program Committee has designed a program of the highest quality to: 1- Facilitate the exchange of new information among healthcare professionals; particularly infectious diseases specialists, clinical microbiologists, infection preventionists, physicians, critical care specialists, researchers, nurses, pharmacists and trainees specializing in infectious diseases. 2- Address the challenges that are facing the diagnosis and management of new emerging infections i.e. MERS-CoV and Ebola Virus . 3- To review topics including new international and domestic perspectives on infection management, antimicrobial stewardship and new technologies that have been developed to improve the diagnosis of diseases. 4- Translation of research and epidemiological data into quality improvement practices toward patient safety.
