COVID19 From Pharmacy Director’s Perspective

In this session, we will be having pharmacy directors of four hospitals around the kingdom who have been managing COVID19 patients. Each one of them will share their challenges and experience on how did they plan and prepared their hospitals for such fight. The session will include the following:

• Changes in Policies and procedures.
• Changes in the normal workflow
• How to overcome shortages in staff and Medications due to the quarantine.
• How to ensure the pharmacists' safety while dealing with:
• Suspected COVID19 patients who come to the outpatient.
• Nurses who come to collect medications for COVID19 inpatients.
• Also Sharing any other obstacles that they faced and how did they overcome it.

Objectives

• Learn new strategic approaches to deal with the issues related to COVID19.
• What’s the obstacles that were faced during these times.
• What’s the role of the pharmacists and their managers in these situations.
